Some of these stories are great and some are a bit of a slog.

There's nothing like a good ghost story, and these were nothing like a good ghost story. Not one scared me, not even all of them contained ghosts! There were some I did enjoy, and I particularly found the Oscar Wilde one hilarious. But all in all, this collection was far from a good read

I do like reading stories from it now and again but that's probably because they are not frightening or even close to eerie so I can sleep pretty good no matter how many of them I read.

A good collection of ghost tales, not that I'm a huge reader of spooky type stories. For me, the highlight was of course Oscar Wilde's, with the wonderful ghost who is trying - and failing - to scare off those loud and brash Americans.
