I’m not sure it’s fair to review this when I read it with a headache-turning-migraine so I’ll probably keep it and reread it when that’s not the case, but I was not overly impressed with most of the poems, which is kind of disappointing. I like a handful of Dickinson poems I’d read in the past and was hoping to find more to like in here. I did find some, but not many. This book has a really pretty presentation though. I love the box to keep it nice, and the cover is a really nice satiny purple with a silver title and flowers. It was also nice that there was a little intro about Dickinson.

Okay. I have skipped around while reading this, and I'm certain that I have not read every single one of the 25, 000 plus poems that are in this, but what I read I loved.

I've been dipping in and out of this all year, and I'm still not finished, strictly speaking.
I suspect I never will be. Nor do I ever want to be, because poetry unlike other literary forms is like songs - begging to be re-read, re-experienced, enjoyed over and over again.

Conseguí una colección viejita de varios poemas suyos, me la pasé buscando significado de palabras y los poemas originales en inglés para tratar de entender más. La próxima me gustaría comprarme una edición bilingue. Porque sino estaba re ??????? Qué carajo quiso decir ???
