I don't know if there's every been a more appropriately named book. Lol. This was intennnnnse all the way through. What a wild ride. 👀 I love a good villain and, hot dayum, Vess was exactly that. What an absolute monster. I was screaming for and cheering Chyna along the whole damn time. 😆

This was the first of Dean Koontz work I've read, and what a great entry to it. Intensity had me hooked more then any other book in recent years. While Chyna is an incredible protagonist, the real star is the twisted sadist of Edgler Vess. An intense story that I think all would love.
