As always, I am in love with everything Agatha Christie has ever put out there, andĀ After the FuneralĀ is no exception. She's such an intelligent and thoughtful writer, and I love the variety of themes and tropes that you'll often find repeating in her work. This one involves a plot twist that's probably a little unlikely, but Agatha Christie is so brilliant that I just don't care. She's called the Queen of Crime for a reason!

Overnight read as usual. The storyline was nebulous, with a cast of characters who were too hard to keep track of (there's a Greg, a George, AND a Gilchrist). There isn't much investigation either, just a whole lot of conversations between the characters that do not add much to the story.
