Lowering my rating from a 5 to a 4 upon re-reading but still very much enjoyed it.
The only reason I lowered the score a bit is because I again found Harry a bit annoying at times. I pretty much agreed with Murphy for most of the book. Harry was being such an idiot lol.

Why have I not read these sooner
I really like these books and I'm getting to know Harry dresden pretty well. I love the whole world that Jim butcher has created and the characters all come across real. They have flaws and are relatable in ways.

I'll be reading more of The Dresden Files as I've been reliably informed the series gets better.

Fool Moon raised the bar when it came to obnoxious moments, and it felt like they would never stop coming my way. The Harry-Murphy interactions felt clunky at best, and ultimately it's hard getting invested in whatever happens to Murphy.
I still want to know more about Harry though, and there were some good/intriguing moments.
