Absolutely loved this book and the characters. It was great to see Tech get his perfect man in Steele. As well as God and Day finally getting married. Definitely going to get the next one.

AE Via is a new author to me as I've only read a few of her books, but she's now been added to my list! Nothing Special V is the fifth book in her Nothing Special series. This special task force of unstoppable men just got a little bigger with the addition of Edwin Steele. He's an ex-Marine with a classified background, but he needs to move on from his past. When he meets, Tech, on his first day he's enamored with the super sexy, geeky man. He's quickly brought into the fold of the team, and is loving the feeling of being with a band of brothers again. Shawn (Tech), loves his job, but he became a detective because he wants to work in the field. He needs to speak up and prove himself if he wants to show his bosses he can do the work. He's been on this team for a long time and he loves the comradery. He's also envious of his team and their partners. He wants to find that one day. Someone to go home to at night. Someone to share his life. Has he found that in sexy Steele? Tech loves Steele's dominating side, but he's no pushover. They aren't equally matched physically, but they are equals. I loved how Steele is turned on my Tech's snazzy clothes and Tech loves the way Steele smokes. I loved that I laughed so much and that Steels is forty-five years old! That made him more sexy to me! :)
They are sexy, sweet, dangerous, hilarious and still more sexy! I loved the family and loyalty with this team. AE Via's writing is great and this story sucked me in from page one. I haven't read the entire series, but I'm hot for this team of men and I want more!

Tech was a fantasy out of every geek's dreams.

"Okay. This car is like Kit," Steele joked.
"You mean from Knight Rider?" Tech grinned. "Damn, how old are you."

"I'm not a bad boy. I'm wearing a button up shirt."

Steele had finally put an end to his sexual drought. If he wanted the job fill time, Tech was happy to slap a no vacancy sign on his ass.

How do these books keep getting better and better!!??

Steele and Tech are freaking awesome. I love that Tech trains to be more than what everyone thinks he is. And he ends up being dang good at it.
Steele is having a hard time with being back after his team was killed so he gets a chance to come to God’s team. It was interesting how Tech and Steele clicked. I loved the sidelong glances.

Ohhhhh and we got a bonus scene Gen and Curtis!! <3 Finally I have been wanting something about them.

I Love love Love A.E. Via!

I love all my boys. I freaking love this series!
It's going to be very hard to write a review w/o posting spoilers but I'm gonna try my hardest to avoid posting spoilers because I refuse to spoil anyone else's reading enjoyment.
I'm going to keep this review short and sweet.
Everything you would come to expect from this series is all there. It's fast paced, action packed, evocative, sexy, funny and yes even heart warming. Everything about the story is perfect except for one very important thing...
The romance takes a backseat to everything else which is unfortunate.
Tech and Steele's romance was completely overshadowed by everything else! These guys were cheated out of their own romance. The story is awesome because it wraps up so many open ended story arcs from previous books I was dying to have answered... just not at the expense of these two.

Despite this one sticking point, every fan of this series is going to love this latest installment. Looking forward to more!

4.5 stars! I love the characters of this series. They make me smile and warm my heart. I think Ruxs and Green are my favorite and boy do they make an entrance in this book.

I like Steele about 100 times more than I like Tech, but part of the appeal for me with this series was that it was really two very stereotypical ~*~men~*~ getting together, and this one breaks that mold. Steele is the prototype and we meet Tech, the little precious nerdlet that must be protected at all costs, that keeps everyone alive from the computer desk, that inexplicably also wants to wield a gun and risk his life. Again, AE Via and the tension, it is simply *chef's kiss*. Aiden Snow's audiobook narration is also perfection. But probably my least fave of the series.

The police drama element is a skimpy cover for the MM romance.

Does include scenes of group sex so not for the faint hearted
