 Despite this being a very short book, I thought that the main characters were developed.

I liked Amber and Tony. While their relationship was very fast, it didn’t feel rushed. I did want to see more scenes at the end showing what their lives would look like after they left the resort.

The plot was fine, even though it was predictable.

The ending was really dramatic and convenient in places, like with Amber’s parents.

I liked this book, so I want to try more books by this author. While I found some of the characters in this book interesting enough to maybe continue with this series, I think that I might try to find some other books by her where the setting isn’t a resort.

This is about sex. That was the majority of this book. The whole fated mates. Screwing each other within minutes of meeting. Being so caught up in the moment they left the door wide open bc it was so urgent to have sex together. That was the book. Yes there was a small plot but it only really started to show at the end of the book. I skipped so many scenes because it was just the same thing. Insta love, constant sex, no character development. I will not be reading this series.

Every page has editing errors. Virtually every paragraph has problems.
Missing words and other problems.
Story is very jumpy.
Extremely Amatuer writing.

Like a 4th grader at most wrote a bunch of drivel and somehow got it published.
Dialog is horrendous.

Add to that, the characters are odd. I mean Really Odd
I made it through by gritting my teeth and skimming.

No redeeming qualities.

1 star is probably to high a rating for this garbage.

3 stars - I liked it

This was an enjoyable fated mates romance. Amber and Tony were a great couple. I was surprised that Amber didn’t know anything about mates or recognize it but I still liked her. I also liked that she was smart when they were imprisoned and worked to get everyone to safety. Tony wasn’t a great spy because he was distracted by Amber but I still liked him. Overall, a good shifter romance with a lot of action.

Trigger Warnings: imprisonment; torture; abandoned as a baby;

Fun read. It was a bit slow to start, but once the action plot kicked off, I really enjoyed it. I liked how resourceful Amber was, though Tony's agency should seriously hire her, because she's way better at spy stuff. The action (and the "action") was very well written. Could have used a little more angst.
