I cannot stress enough how much I enjoyed this series. You have everything from rare mythological shifters, hot chemistry between mates, so many plot twist and turns and everything is not what it seems. It was so intense, I couldn't put this down. The character development and epic world building was incredibly fantastic. I mean I am still in awe at literally everything about this series. It's too bad that I can't rate higher than a 5, it's definitely worth a lot more. Plus, if you are a huge Mythology buff like me, than I would highly recommend this one.

I received an ARC and voluntarily gave my honest opinion and review

Three things:

1) Raina is the OG snarky badass FMC.
2) The foxy guys are the best friends Raina could ask for and didn’t know she needed.
3) I absolutely loved Caspian and wish we got more of him.

This series was a rollercoaster from start to finish. Greek mythology with the seven deadly sins thrown in. You’d think it would get chaotic and hard to keep track of things, but it’s well written. I could tell J was working her way to wrapping things up without being rushed or implausible by how long the chapters were getting in the third book. There was a lot to unpack!

I remember thinking a few times that Skye does not sound like a typical 4 year old at all. But then you have to realize what she’s been forced to get accustomed to in her short life.

Raina doesn’t just accept her new date without issue, either. A whole lot happens and she does take a lot of things in stride, but there was drawback in the beginning that she had to work through.

I loved the character development for her and each of the guys. And nothing is resolved too hastily, either.

I’m glad I finally read this series. Raina’s story was great. My first book by J was Discord, and I had snapped up every one of her books released since then. But this series? I had been avoiding because I knew the moment I read it, I would be sad because I would have read all of her books and wouldn’t have anything left on the TBR. It was nice to have that fallback option. Guess I’ll just have to start doing rereads, then!

~Oblivion~
I loved this read! This is a very unique story from the plot to the creatures. This has wonderful storytelling and world building. I am very excited to see where the story goes after the cliffhanger.

This is a very attention grabbing and captivating read! This is incredibly written with amazing twists. I am speechless after reading this second book in the series. This picks right up where Oblivion (book 1) leaves off and keeps the same great pace. There is fantastic world and character building. I am very excited and am on the edge of my seat for the next book!

~Obsessed~
This is a great ending to this amazing series. This is well written and ties loose end together wonderfully. Exciting with plenty of twists and turns. There are sweet moments along with a few laughs. I really enjoyed not only this book but the entire series.

I love having the Sphinx trilogy in one big boxset.
Raina, a single mother to her daughter, Skye, and her three rare shifters, Cain, Ryker, and Seros, are one of my favorite series that I've read

Book 1

This book is all kinds of epic the twist and turns are just as intense as they are deep. The snark and sarcasm are killer. I love the story line and that fluffy makes you want the next one immediately after.

Book 2

I need book 3 I can't believe that plot twist. I love how these books are going great new author. I love the single mom who that she was human element of surprise there. Great alpha makes and great word building. Mythology is also a big win highly recommend you check these out

Book 3

Omg what a sweet ending to a story. I loved all the mini twist and and all the sweet funny moments. I loved watching the characters grow in this series. It was a really fun read an exposing the human world to shifters always makes me laugh.

I missed these books first time round, so the box set release seemed like a good time to catch up.

What a roller coaster of a tale!

Raina starts out as a widowed single mother, and over the course of the three books discovers that pretty much everything she thought she knew - about herself, her daughter and about the world - is wrong.

There's a great mix of different mythologies, mostly Egyptian and Greek, and a lot of twists and turns. Binging it meant I didn't have the suspense of the cliff-hangers at the end of each book, but I can imagine the impact of having to wait.

I enjoyed this, and I believe the author has more books in the same universe, which I@m looking forward to checking out.
