Escrito en 1864, Memorias del Subsuelo retrata la psicología y moral de un personaje anónimo, quien pudiera verse como resentido o paria de la sociedad, sin embargo, Fyodor Dostoevsky logra darle al personaje una profundidad y vida propias que a lo largo de sus paginas te permite empatizar por momentos y despreciar en otros.
Una de las obras clave de la literatura rusa, y sin duda es necesario, a pesar de su tamaño, dedicarle todo el tiempo a su lectura y reflexión, porque no es una obra sencilla, es un tratado de moral y filosofía de una sociedad que reclama atención a través de su desprecio.
