I have a hard time reviewing memoirs. If it was fiction it would be too morose for me. Because it is real it's powerful but still incredibly sad to read. It's unrelenting in it's sadness as well. I think that's what I had such a hard time getting through it. Militellos writing is amazing. I want to read more of her work as soon as possible.
