Reread, 7/30/2012. I was surprised at the extent to which I'd forgotten what happened. Probably one of the more terrifying Vorkosigan books; once the climax started, I needed to finish it so I could avoid nightmares.

On to Cryoburn! That is, if S. ever lets me have my e-reader back.

Fantastic, as always. A nice change of pace after A Civil Campaign (which was also fantastic but in a different way). Very fast paced and felt more like a "Young" Miles book than the last few. I'll say it every time, this series and Bujold are a treasure to readers.

Second reread after it first came out. I'd forgotten so much of the plot. It holds up well.

That's more like it. After a few meandering entries, Bujold delivers solid thrills - in space! The good stuff.
