I love the suspense of the book. Amazing read for young adults who love a good mystery/suspenseful book

I think I would have liked this alot more if I'd read it as a teenager. Not a bad quick read, but not something I want to keep on the bookshelf.

Told from three viewpoints: Cass MacBride, her kidnapper, and the lead detective investigating her disappearance. This is typical Gail Giles fodder- a tense situation, dramatic turns of events, and an ending that may shock you or fail to provide a neat and tidy wrap up of events. It's worth reading and teens should go for it.

I really liked this book. There was a psychological side to the story that kept the pace moving. The writing style was short and fast-paced which added to the psychological thriller aspect of the plot line. The characters were well written and had strong back stories to match their plot lines. Additionally, the symbolism and themes of the book were well developed throughout the story line. The ending had me truly questioning different aspects of the characters and life itself. Overall, it was a good, short read.
