I thought Cecelia and Colin were a fun couple. Once we got past the first introduction between them, were Colin does come off a bit aggressive for my tastes, the two have a pretty fun and lighthearted relationship for the most part. There is still the much needed serious moments where the two of them to bond and trust one another again, but it is not bogging down the book making it too serious for a fun romance read.

Whilst I did really enjoy the book I thought the conflict that was the whole reason this is a second chance romance, was not really confronted. It was addressed but it felt very fast and brushed to the side in the overall story. The story is mainly about Cecelia and Colin connecting again but it didn't feel satisfying when the issue was finally resolved. I wanted the two of them to confront it in a way that felt like the two of them had grown and we could see it, not just hear it.

Overall I am enjoying the series and this book did the job of entraining me and being a fun read. I think the next book is going to be fun if the epilogue of this book is anything to go by.

Her very own Jamie Fraser!

Want a highlander of you own?
Jamie Fraser busy?

Aye, Colin McGregor can help out. The big Scot has one woman on his mind. Cece wasn't ready for a third time. She wasn't ready at all. But love waits for no one...

It was kind of cheesy, not UNenjoyable but not something I enjoyed a lot either... Not a very memorable book overall. The heroine kinda felt like a doormat. I feel like the premise of the book was pretty promising but sadly it wasn't done justice. One of those books that I read and forget about the very next day.

Bad Breakup is bad. Really bad. The characters does not have chemistry at all. Hence the conversation is stiff and weird. It is like Miss Faber cut and paste it from somewhere.
The flow of the story need better editing.

I did not enjoy listening to the audiobook. Not at all.

Good story. A little confusing about their past and they were forgiving pretty quickly.

dnf@20% What can I say, some days you you feel life ticking away fast so why waste time. I'm out.
h meets ex H by accident. Even though he's really hurt her, she is fantasising about his body from pretty much on meeting him. Weak much? That was irritating but as soon as I got to
Spoiler he thinks 'she left me at the alter' and she thinks 'he left me at the alter ', I thought forget this. Contrived misunderstandings not my thing.
