This didn't survive the 90s. Dated, predictable sense of humor that will make you cringe if you have more modern sensibilities, weak character writing, and too often the book plays into poor stereotypes. This is probably a generational thing; broadly speaking, my guess is millennials and younger won't like this as much as Gen X will.

The writing style for this book was good and made it super easy to read. I also really loved the concept. Unfortunately, I didn't really like any of the characters. I'm hoping they get better next book.
