Of the series, I think this was the weakest of the books so far. It was hilarious, well written, descriptive and exciting. But it also lack the surprise and twist and turns that the other books had. There was a point going up the mountain that I thought they would never get there. If that was intentional, then WELL DONE! I love this series and I can’t wait to read #7. No matter what, I’m a huge fan of all of these unique, crazy characters!!!

I love these books. They’re fantastic. The characters are amazing, their interactions are hilarious and parts are legit laugh out loud funny. My kids asked me why I was laughing more than once.

I took a little break after bingeing the first five books, and I think it’s just made me appreciate this world and the characters that much more.

I love the whole sense of found family. Ivy House crew are…eclectic. Hilarious, insane, eccentric, diverse, unbeatable, and have I mentioned insane? Coupled with the shifters who are just the absolute polar (pun somewhat intended) opposite, just makes for amusing shenanigans.

I spent so much of the book just chuckling at all things Edgar. Genuinely lying in bed, wheezing under my breath, trying not to wake my husband up with my laughter.

The only negative for me was how long Jessie hesitated to accept her gargoyle fully. Frustrating.

Side note: why am I picturing Kitty from That 70’s Show as Ulrich’s mum?

Keep Them Coming Kf Breene

I absolutely love this series. It has an amazing mix of found family, female empowerment, romance, hilarious humor and adventure. All of the characters have a unique personality that you can’t help loving. I am anxiously waiting for the next book to see what this crazy will get up to next!

So good!
This was freaking hilarious and so well written.
Each new book in this series brings us uniquely lovable characters, and this one was no exception. Nobody does it like K F Breene, though. Edgar, he's incredibly disturbing, has no idea what personal space is, and is just unsettling. And yet, I'd love nothing more than to sit down and learn how to make doilies with him or even do some gardening. Just gotta love him.
Loved meeting the basajaunak, and we finally got to meet another female gargoyle, one I've been waiting for!
Another great addition to an awesome series! Laughed until my face hurt!
