Lieutenant Sarah Cuddahy is on the Task Force looking into the children who have been disappearing. They believe Sarah is the best person to help since five years ago Sarah’s daughter Sophie went missing. Sarah’s life hasn’t been the same. The hurt and depression are still there. She tries to control the panic attacks that have plagued her and not let anyone see her when she is experiencing one. Sarah has never given up hope that Sophie will be found one day. Carla Parson’s son Josh went missing a week apart from Sophie and she has never given up hope either. Sarah’s husband, Tom, who is with the FBI, grieved as well, but accepted the loss of Sophie to be able to move forward. With too much grief and the distance in their marriage, Tom left. He couldn’t watch the pain and suffering as Sarah fell apart.

Tom gets called in on the case where he and Sarah have to work together to try and stop the abductions of prominent people’s children. The more they investigate the more complicated the answers become. They want to stop whoever it is behind this and return the children back home to their parents. Who is taking the children and why? Where could they be taking them?

Debra Web wrote a masterful story about what it is like to have your child abducted. It leaves you chilled to the bone in the horror of it all. I recommend this story it was a quick read and very good.

Bone Cold is a suspenseful must read book! Ms. Webb is a masterful story teller and has created characters that come alive on the page. Once I started reading I could not put it down! Bone Cold is one of the best written books that I have read in a long time. Even though this is a stand-alone book, I would also recommend reading Bone Deep. You will never be disappointed with a Debra Webb story.
