This book picks up right where book 1 left off! The high of Belize comes to an abrupt end and The Club has trashed Sarah and Kat’s places and taken their laptops. Now they are both back at Jonas’s house for the time being so he can keep them safe. Then Josh arrives so him and Jonas work on a plan to take on The Club. (Cue a sneak peek at the chemistry between Josh and Kat!) The storyline has suspense, drama, heartbreaking moments, spice, love, more of Jonas’s adorable philosophical quotes and secrets we are dying to find out! So much is unpacked in this book but be prepared for it to end in a big cliffhanger and get right into book 3!

“Now that Sarah knows the truth about The Club—and The Club knows she knows their secret—what might those fuckers be willing to do to protect their global cash-cow-prostitution-ring? Well, I’m not going to wait to find out. I’m taking these motherfuckers down.”

Heaven Help Me

Jonas and Sarah’s story continues in Reclamation. Typical guy, Jonas tries to protect Sarah without including her in the plan. Good thing Sarah is who she is. The end if this book came way too fast, thank goodness the 3rd is ready to be opened. Lauren Rowe has a way with words that has you flowing through the story of these complex characters. I am so glad I found her as an author!

A Guilty Pleasure

If book one was a high speed train ride, this was where it crashed into the canyon. But like in the best way. The reason I call it a guilty pleasure is because the writing style may be juvenile, they may have sex like two horny 17-year-olds with a free pass, and their relationship is high drama all the time. But I couldn’t stop reading! It was so addicting, but at the same time so unrealistic. I think the entire book took place over three days. It ends on a cliffhanger. These two, WOO! Man oh man, buckle up for a wild ride with this one.

The second installment in The Club series is explosive! Jonas and Sarah's chemistry is undeniable, but with the people behind the service still coming after her, I couldn't turn the pages fast enough and can't wait to read the next book. I particularly enjoyed this one, as you get to know the characters a bit more, even amongst the suspense!
