King of the Court has been one of my most anticipated books by R.S Grey. As expected, it didn't disappoint me at all, and I'm so glad that I gave this book a chance. Like OMG?! It literally got me hooked from the beginning till the end and I just loved everything about it.
Talking about the characters, I really adore Ben & Raelynn. The personas that they portrayed throughout the entire story are more than enough for me to love them. Also, I just loved the chemistry that these two have for one another. It's so obvious how they are truly meant for one another.
Overall, it was an enjoyable read and I think R.S Grey has done a great job in delivering the story of Ben & Raelynn. I highly recommend everyone to try out this book. Like seriously, if you're in the mood for a sweet romance that brings a smile to your face, then this one is perfect for you. Believe me, it's totally worth it.

I liked the 2 parts and the instant chemistry. It was definitely right person wrong time. The ending felt a bit rushed. Overall I enjoyed it!

Normally, I love this author. The premise of this book was great. Yet, it fell short for me which is too bad because it had the potential to be one of the best from this author. The parts that were good were great but the parts that weren't frustrated the heck out of me. My biggest problem was the time, it felt choppy, especially, once part two started. I wanted more time watching these characters rediscover what was special in the spark that Raelyn and Ben had.
Even though this wasn't my favorite from this author, ill still look for me books in the future.

Just couldn't hold my interest – I love R.S. Grey's newer books but getting through her backlist hasn't left me with many new favorites 🙃

you know that feeling when you want to read something specific, such as a romcom so you just laugh and lighten up a little and so you forget about the previous emotional one ? well, that’s what I was expecting when I pick it up, turned out I got emotional damage from it as well.
I wanted a good sport romance book, I got it.
but why do I only read Basketball romances with tormented protagonists mixed with plot twists that have the gift to wreck me ? *being overly dramatic*
Ben is a famous basketball player in the olympic team, they end up in a small town in the middle of nowhere for their trining session. Raelynn is a young genius who has no choice but to give up her life in Los Angels and to come back to her hometown —the actual small town in the middle of nowhere— to take care of her sick grandmother by juggling with a couple of jobs.
the two of them had an insta connection/ chemistry that were literally alive throughout the pages and it felt surprisingly real. they were two well constructed characters. Miss Grey has done a pretty well job with Ben, he was everything I love about a damaged hero. reserved and calm, not a show off kind of professional player. he was always attentive to Raelynn, always searching ways to help her without invading. he was perfect. such a pure heart.
Raelynn was so precious and innocent at times that I literally teared up. she didn’t deserve what happened to her. she preserved her optimism and kind-soul even after all what she went through, especially at the first part’s end, and that darn shit hurt as hell.

There are things I liked but there are also things I would liked to be done differently. Still I liked setting and romace is cute. If you want fast and fun sport romance this is book for you.
