This is a series of three stories with an overarching plot where Grimmiss is meant to be the hero. He is summoned by masked entities to pacify the volcano goddess but in his efforts, he brings about other conflict. This wasn't incredibly engaging for me, so I don't intend to read more of the series, but I was tickled that Grimmiss speaks Spanish with no translation and when he turns "evil" he speaks only in french!
