Not quite the plot twist they probably thought it was. Also it weirdly didn’t break my heart. But still really enjoyable.

Good reading. But the plot was to easy to guess. So no surprises.

Many a shocked moment was had with book 3. I enjoyed the transformation of the plot as well as the growth of our characters - particularly Jasper and Alex as our side characters.

The plot twists were really intriguing and I didn't see them coming at all, for the most part.

Looking forward to seeing how the fall out of this installment lends itself to the set up of book 4.

Okay. This one sort of drove me nuts because from the moment he told Cal “We’re a lot alike *wink*!” in the first book I knew Alex was on team villain. I cannot tell you how many times I stopped reading to look at the book in wonderment. “Come on. You think Celia is the spy? Really?” (And don’t get me started on the left field emergence of Celia and Jasper.)

I, honestly almost quit a few times because I felt like this whole book was leading up to this big reveal that was supposed to surprise and dismay me. The only reason I kept on was that I was hoping there would be a twist and that the figurative neon arrow over Alex’s head would turn out to be a red herring. Alas, it was not.

Another to be honest moment: I was so annoyed with the not-surprising Alex reveal that Aaron’s (very surprising) death didn’t quite hit me the way it should have.

It’s a good thing this was the third book and I have gotten invested in the characters and the story- if it’d been the first, I’d probably not continue.
