What an incredible, intense, sad installment to the series. I originally thought this was only going to be a 3-volume series, so I'm extremely happy to find out that there are more issues in the works, even if Something is Killing the Children does wreck me a little bit more every time I revisit this world.
Also, Erica Slaughter is such a damn badass and I want to know her.
✨ Representation: queer primary character; BIPOC side characters

So good! Loved how this ended this story arc (vol 1-3). First horror series I read and enjoyed it more than I thought I would although not a great idea to read before bed

I’m so glad I picked up this series of comics/graphic novels, they have all been incredible so far. This volume gives us closure to part of our story but I know that it’s not the last book so I’m intrigued to see what happens in the next volumes. All of our main characters show so much bravery in this volume especially.
As far as we know when finishing up this volume the small town of Archers Peak has successfully fought to survive and rid their community of the killing monsters
Will this town ever reach some kind of normalcy again?
I hope we continue to follow our main characters in the next volume and we find out how they cope in the wake of tragedy.
*content warnings*
Horror, visual gore, visual blood, death, visual of deceased child, grief, monsters, supernatural themes
I may have missed some content warnings that may be triggering to you, read with caution if necessary. Research/read other reviews to find out other content warnings.
I would not recommend this story for children under 12(ish), maybe even older.
