This book wasn't what I expected and it kept surprising me. They handled a few topics in ways I wasn't the biggest fan of, but overall it was written in and interesting way and I didn't see the twists coming.

A harrowing account of revenge, dysfunctional families, and mob mentality. This was a real page turner for me, the fast pacing was engrossing and I loved how it was formatted with different characters telling each part and through different mediums (epistolary, phone call, journal, etc).

This was absolutely wild, start to finish. I ended up devouring the book in 2 sittings. 

You see a lot of the plot points coming from a mile away but, surprisingly, that doesn't take away the enjoyment of watching it unfold piece by piece.
