Each chapter is essentially the same story from a different person’s point of view, which is a very unique way to write and read a novel. Due to the writing style, the chapters are pretty long, which isn’t my favorite thing. I decided to listen to this one for that reason and it made it easier to consume. There are definitely some exciting twists and pretty dark themes. Since the story was told several times it did get kind of repetitive which made it feel tedious at times. But overall I enjoyed the book.

This wasn't bad necessarily, but it was really weird.
I feel like I had to suspend my disbelief too much to make it through this.
And the fact that these kids aren't even in high school yet, give me a break.
It would have been better of they were in college.

Overall would recommend 5you want a crazy ride.

TW/CW: death of a child, AIDS/HIV stigma and discussion, poisoning/knowingly giving someone HIV/AIDS, animal cruelty (mentioned), drowning, divorce, miscarriage (mentioned), suicidal ideation, bombing, child abuse, toxic family relationships, death

Oh, where do I start with this one? If you like REALLY drawn-out revenge stories where you hear about a crime from LITERALLY EVERY PERSPECTIVE, then this book might be for you. Personally, I felt like this book dragged on for way too long. Each new POV, we had to hear about the same incident all over again with some added spice and details. Because it was repetitive, it felt like I was making absolutely no progress and really not learning any useful information. The more time went on, the more I realized that the majority of the characters were evil in their own right.

Her pupils killed her daughter.
Now, she will have her revenge.

This is exactly what you get. It wasn't a slog, but it also didn't render me speechless. I didn't mind the multiple povs as much as other people (who didn't rave about the book) did. But idk. I guess I wish each pov were more subversive? The same reasoning and motives posed in earlier chapters are getting repeated over and over again.

And I think the final gotcha moment was a little

Titulo: Confesiones
Autor: Kanae Minato
Motivo de lectura: #PopSugarReadingChallenge2023
Lectura / Relectura: Lectura
Mi edicion: Electronico
Puntuacion: 5/5

I didn't understand the jump from to part 2.  I had no clue who was speaking and who the characters were.
