After seeing this one all over Instagram I was really intrigued to give it a go. The plot was both really interesting and unique which I did really enjoy, but I wasn’t blown away.

I really felt for Ola & Micheal throughout the story and it did make me wonder what I would do if I were in the situation. It really shines a light on the effects Social Media can have on the real world and how you have to take everything with a pinch of salt, but how do you know what to trust and what not too? So many points during the storyline I found myself laughing out loud - especially around Ruth who I just loved and always had me laughing but was so loyal to Ola. Her whole friendship group also really showed the best of female friendships which I loved. But I also struggled to believe they were instagram famous?

The ending also gave a small shock factor as I did not expect the twist at the end but I did feel like maybe it could have been a bigger twist to add a bit more of a shock to really leave the reader wondering but at the same time, it was also a really realistic ending that left me feeling a bit on edge as I wondered how many people have actually gone to those lengths?

Overall I would recommend but I do agree with other reviews that it felt like it was written more for a TV series adaptation than to be a standout story.

This book had me gasping and yelling 😂

What an incredibly harrowing concept. I wish I could thank Yomi Adegoke personally for writing this 😳

It keeps you guessing until the very end too. There was nary a moment where I was not hooked 🗣️

I thought I had clocked it when Celie started speaking to Ola about Michael, but NO! Aaron? Fucking eh! 😫

Highly recommend this one for an anxiety-inducing book! 4.5 out of 5 stars for me, thank you ✨ Content warnings below!

Poorly written, waffly and convoluted. I googled the ending and am very pleased I didn't continue reading!

This was a hard book to read, and a hard subject matter to tackle. The book focused on online accusations and the fallout that ensues - harassment, lack of trust, and ruined lives. This book tried to come at this topic from many perspectives - what happens if you’re named as an abuser online? What is that fallout like? Something just fell flat for me in this book though. It was a slog to get through.  Was it the subject? Maybe. Was it something else? Maybe. Perhaps I couldn’t relate to Ola so resolutely standing by Michael even before he was put on “the list.”
