This had to be, hands down, my FAVORITE Stephen King Novel of all time. It was heartbreaking, thrilling and honestly just stole my entire soul.

This one is hard to rate. I’m a little let down because there really wasn’t a ton of the ghosts in a ghost story. I was hoping it would be really scary with some great The Shining- like imagery. However, this book is much more in the vain of 11/22/63. It’s a great story and very sentimental, just not the most thrilling or horrifying book.

I'm not generally a fan of scary books, but I'm a fan of Stephen King's writing. I read this as a part of the Nest Book Club for October and I'm glad I was forced to read another Stephen King book. I love the depth of character and the suspense. This was about as scary as I can get for books, though. I have nightmares too easily!
