I read this once very quickly in like three sittings, and I didn’t get much out of it. But reading it again has been encouraging. Love reading me some sad Asian girly books. Me too sis. I will say that sometimes Wong’s style is so ornate as to be borderline gaudy, but there are some true stunners here (the title poem, I Put On My Fur Coat, Everything).
