“Aaron and Ella” WHAT??
First of all I love this book, I just got so overwhelmed with what’s going on.
Aaron and Kenji‘s relationships development, they are getting close! Juliette? Or should I call her Ella? She’s the hottest for shaving her head to match with his beloved hehe.
“Your Regent Warner speaks seven languages.”
“You speak seven languages?” Juliette says, touching my arm.
“Sometimes,” I say quietly.
Last but not least, Nazeera yall? I love her.
“Men,” she says, “are always so baffled by women’s clothing. So many opinions about a body that does not belong to them. Cover up, don’t cover up”—she waves a hand—“no one can seem to decide.”
I suppose to rate it 5 star but no for the ending and Lena.

okay let’s star at the beginning, shall we?
so it started a bit slow, but i don’t know if it was just my little slump or the book it self. then it catch up, only to get slow again, but at mark 70% i was hooked and stayed until 3am to finish it.
warner jeez he went through a lot lot, he did some bad stuff and questionable choices, but we can’t forget that he’s 19 and the trauma he’s been through. i just wanted to give him a hug even though he would definitely flip me off if not just break my arm or something.
juliette, my love, everything to me, you’ve been through a lot and in this book damn. the transformation though yesssss girlboss.
their relationship in this book HURT ME. in the beginning there was a quote that gave me war flashbacks “i miss you // i’m right here”. now listen if you’re a marauders fan you know what im talking about. so yeah i didn’t enjoy that but then the breakup, reading aaron’s pov, her feelings, i just couldn’t, it was too painful.
kenji i love you. only you make me laugh at wink on paper at 2 in the morning. also i wish i could give you a huge hug, i just think you need it.
nazeera. LOVE. OF. MY. LIFE. please marry me. what 👏🏻 a 👏🏻 queen👏🏻 ngl i didn’t trust you at the beginning but now yeahhh i’m so excited to get to know more about youu
AND COME ON the way that kenji was too stunned to speak around her I LOVED LOVED LOVED IT
the trans representation yass we love to see it
james is SO cute i can’t- that scene with warner >>>>> it was amazing
unpopular opinion but i don’t hate adam, i hate what he said and how he treated juliette but i don’t hate him, i dislike him tho
THE END?!?!?!? WTH?! i’m so glad i’m only reading this books when all of them are already out because i could not wait a year (probably more) for the next one.
i was speechless. THE POLAROID PHOTO?!?! OMFG.
so so so exited for defy me, i’m intrigued on how this is going to go from now on
