WWII historical fiction novels are my favorite - the courage and bravery people had in the face of death is just unbelievable. I’d never heard of the Red Cross Clubmobile girls, and I thought this story was fascinating. Parts of it felt a little cheesy, but I was totally invested in Fiona, Viv and Dottie’s life and I had to know how it would end. The authors note at the end explaining which scenes were based on real life events was terrific, I love knowing that some of these scenes really happened in history!
