Really enjoyable. Lydia was a great character - plenty of flaws, bad decisions, impulsive actions, not particularly special in any way, but still very likeable. Characters in general were likeable and complex. The concept was really interesting and mostly hung together, making me want to know more about the world.

My big problem though, is with the mystery. Logi can tell if someone is lying. There's absolutely no reason for Lydia to remain a suspect in any way, when it's so easy to determine that she didn't do it. It was distracting from the mystery to know there was an easy answer to many of the "mysteries." Wasn't enough to ruin the book, though.

The mystery was convoluted and I’m honestly not clear on the motivations to go to the lengths the perpetrator took. The ending happened in a bit of a rush and left a few too many loose ends for my taste. But I did enjoy the world and the characters, and there were some really creative elements.

I really tried to push through this one but the writing is in a strange tense and it is very hard to read.

Enjoyed the read, but also the conclusion was too fast with loose ends. I don't think I could explain the plot without it sounding like the story was written by rolling dice to decide the next plot point.
