The Guncle is a story about a former TV star who agrees to have his Niece and Nephew live with him over the summer due to unexpected family tragedy. This funny yet heartwarming story touches on topics of family, grief, healing, and living life to the fullest.
The main character’s (Patrick) whit and sarcasm reminded me a lot of Michael Urie (Younger/ Ugly Betty) and hope they consider him for upcoming movie adaptation!
Overall this book was easy to read and would recommend!
