Every joke is at the expense of another whether it's ableist, elitest, fatphobic, racist or just downright rude! I didn't find any character loveable enough to care about and the name dropping of celebrities just got tiresome.

I would usually wait until I was at least a quarter of the way through to dnf a book, but after 40 pages of "I’m not like other girls"ness, a spoiled rich main character, and racism about every fifth page, I just couldn’t force myself to go further.

I was excited to delve deeper into the fashion world and learn more about New York through TDWP, unfortunately the content of the book has discouraged me from continuing reading it. Around 20 pages into the book, the author turned out to present awful writing. While the style of writing was okay, the content was hurtful and disturbing. Casual racism, body-shaming, and stereotyping- absolutely unnecessary! Do not wanna find out what else might be written in the book.
