So Meghan March is an author I've heard of but haven't had the pleasure of reading as of yet. Ruthless King has definitely made me a fan and now I see why all my book friends love her stories. Where do I begin when it comes to Ruthless King? Mount surely lived up to his title in this book. Throughout the story I struggled with my feelings for Mount right along with Keira. I was so conflicted with how I could like him one moment and then loathe him the next moment. I felt like I was in the book right along Keira and I loved every moment of the story! Keira was a spitfire and didn't back down when it came to Mount. Then again she didn’t back down period and I loved her strong personality. She’s a true warrior! What I also love is that she definitely throws Mount off his game in this book. This story was well written, evenly paced and kept me wanting more and that ending had my jaw dropping!!

This one really took my buddy surprise! I’m not typically a romance reader, I dabble. I do like the warm and fuzzy stories but I need them to have depth or something to intrigue me. ⁣

Back in January I joined a Dark Romance monthly buddy read. Did I have any idea what dark romance actually meant? Nope. Was I curious enough to find out? Yep. ⁣

This was February’s selection for our buddy read (wasn’t a fan of January’s so I never posted it), and this one definitely surprised me with quickly it kept me turning the pages. ⁣

Ruthless King by Meghan March is a short and quick look into the extensive world of dark romance novels. It has all the elements that seem to make up one: characters you love to hate, kinky type of sex scenes, powerful and domineering men. But this book also had a little bit of a suspenseful element as to what was going to happen next and where this book could be going. Then bam

If you were curious about Haunting Adeline but couldn't get past the terrible writing, try this instead. Unless you're a dark romance girly, read the content warnings though

omg, this book is hot. I love the main characters attitude and ability to be feisty. I really enjoy the power and control Mount has. While one part I was like what?? I think there is more to it than meets the eye because of the surprise ending.

Loved the story but wasn’t a fan of these voice actors. I miss Andi & Zachary.
