This one may be one of my favourite Romeo and Juliet Adaptations.
Two lovers caught up in the war between their families. But instead of swords at dawn, it's footballs at sunset.
I feel this could be a sister movie to She's The Man which was adapted from my favourite play Twelfth Night.
I was a little disappointed there wasn't as much spice as we usually get from CW Farnsworth but then I reminded myself that this is set in High school and therefore I completely understood it!
I really loved the characters, the way the love grew from an unexpected friendship. This is another prime example of why I love this author so much. And I have no words for my love of the ending!
I cannot wait to read Liam's story which is coming soon!

Wes and Maeve are cute. It's a soft enemies to lovers story - rival towns, rival teams, Maeve's brother is the quarterback and Wes is his arch nemesis. They're sweet together, but the dynamic shifted with their third-act conflict and I didn't like Wes then.
Maeve is sweet. I'm glad their story ended nicely. This book was nice, easy read, and cute.

This book had me really invested I actually felt like it was happening to me. I feel like bits were skipped over too quickly and that some things weren’t given enough depth. Overall really cute and easy read to put you in a good mood.
