Great story line. The characters description is definitely different compared to the play. The story does have some spice. Love. Romance. Slight Frenemies to Lovers. Death. DUI.

Wow. I almost stopped reading in the early pages because I don’t like when urban books portray black people a certain way, but I’m very glad I continued. This book was really emotional and the characters were so easy to relate too. The growth everyone went through was nice to see and the authors imagery was awesome.

Don't remember what happen in this book. It's been a long time since I read it. However the note I wrote in the book said that it was really good. So I guess I will rate it as so.

This book was so captivating. The characters were real and flawed, which I believe made them relatable. The book was amazing and I was able to see the stage-play a few years back and it was amazing as well. I have read this book numerous times. Definitely one worth reading....it's a page turner.

Wow
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and thought the turn of events after part 2 was very unexpected. I connected with the characters so much that I experienced all the feels right along with them. This is my 3rd book by this author and I thought I loved the scandal of his books, but with Friends and Lovers I simply enjoyed the storyline and the character development.
