I love this book so very much! Gorgeous, lyrical novel in verse with ALL THE FEELINGS (so many feelings). One timeline is Tatiana at age 14/Eugene at 17, and the other is the pair 10 years later, and it all comes together so beautifully and I won't spoil anything but just read it, read it, read it!!!

La claque ! Un très beau roman, plein de vie, d'humour et d'amour.

This was an interesting read. Not only because of the storyline but also due to it being written as poetry. Even after I've finished the book I'm not sure I would ever read a fiction written like poetry again. It was 'til the end a little difficult for me to grasp. Might be due to the fact that English is not my native language so it comes with little difficulty anyway.

I liked the story overall. I can't say I necessarily liked Eugene since I did feel like he played and manipulated Tatiana quite a bit. The way he was nice to her ten years ago and then broke her heart (and Lenskys and Olgas). Then has the guts to reappear in her life after a decade and try to persuade her to drop her life because he decided he wants to be with her now.

I think it was a good story but honestly, I wouldn't read it again. If anyone asks, I wouldn't say "not don't read it" because most of the time it was an enjoyable read but not good enough to reread.
