This book was a quick read. I loved to read things in Adams perspective but I did not love love it.

Oh Adam
Oh Adam
Oh Adam
Tut tut tut
I very much understand he loves his brother and everything but it felt like he just forgot about Juliet very quickly and only remembered when kenji said something. He was willing to go find her and Adam stopped him. Obviously we know that Juliet is ok but that’s not the point. I understand adams motives towards his brother and he loves his family and that’s all he has left but he left Juliet to die and kenji wanted to save her but he stopped him

My thoughts while reading the book:

What a shitty son of a bitch you are. F*cking claim that you love her and leave her to the enemy´s hands . Freaking hell ! I really liked you, freaking adored you and that is what you do???

Goosh. Goosh. Goosh. Adam! What the hell. I don´t know what to think anymore. Because I know Aaron would do ANYTHING for her. Freaking anything and damn...

However I would certainly want you as my big brother. I really would. The way he protects James, cares for him is soooooooooooo sweet.

Huh .

This short story didn't add anything to the main story line except to show us that the leadership of the resistance were all cowards who hid in a tank and ran away while the rest of their friends and allies were dying. I think the intention was to show that Adam has discovered that his love for his little brother is greater than his love for Juliette and that both of them are realizing their bond isn't as strong as they thought. Instead it just served to show us how hollow their commitment to their cause really was.
