I think I'm one of the few people that actually like Adam. Granted I've only read up to this novella, but I just don't understand why he gets so much flak. Although I do admit his character lacks a lot of personality, he does seem to be one of the few rational members of the group (sometimes). And I do think his feelings towards Warner and throughout the entire novella were justified. However, although I understand why he did it (James does come first and I love how much he cares for his brother), I'm still mad he didn't break barriers to go find Juliette. Like why was Kenji fighting more to find Juliette than Adam? The same guy that says she's the love of his life. Like I get it, family first, but he wasn't helping his case especially when they found out that Juliette is "dead" at the end of the novella.
Graphic: War, Murder, and Violence
Moderate: Grief and Injury/Injury detail
Minor: Fire/Fire injury, Death, and Abandonment

My respect for Adam is out the window. The day before he would have put his life on the line for Juliette and now he’s questioning if she’s worth dying for smh 🤦🏻♀️ Not that the book is bad I just dislike Adam
