So glad I found this series, I think I just stumbled upon it by accident. I love zombie/apocalypse RH, but I haven't seen too many to be honest, I don't know what to look under. Anywho, loved this so much, the spice factor is very low, it's not insta-love, hell for some it's not even sort of like. lol I love that this has such a deep plot, and that there is a lot going on without it being overwhelming.
There is more that sexy times to be had, and I love that. I love that. The characters are still developing through the entire book, and I know there are a few more books in the series, I am already on book two, and I am loving it as well. I can tell that there are going to be twists and turns and secrets revealed. I am here for it. I do like there is a slight paranormal flair to this as well. You have to read it to understand what I am talking about.

This is a fast paced story with incredibly unique and powerful characters. I love that each character has a different and unexpected "flaws". Maya Riley's debut is absolutely amazing and has made me excited to see what is next. I received an advanced copy and am voluntarily leaving an unbiased, honest review.

Not too bad

Well this book isn't one I would normally read but I have to admit I thoroughly enjoyed it, it has zombies and magic I mean what's not to enjoy. Would love to learn more about Lincoln and why does he have a powerful magic.
Would love to know if there are more magical survivors, can't wait to read the next book now

This was kinda fun. I'm leery of any book that has lovable animals in them and apocalypses but so far it's alright. The romance felt a little off, maybe because there wasn't a lot of build up to it, it just sort of happened. Not quite insta-love but there wasn't much evidence to show the build up of the relationships. Other than that though, the plot is good. Reminds me a little of Debbie Cassidy's For The Blood series, but this one has more breathing room and isn't set at such an intense pace.



Enjoying the plot though for sure. There's lot's of intrigue about the world and i'm curious to know more.



Also. I hate it when animals die. No more dead dogs in books and movies please. If you're anything like me and just have to know whether or not the dog is okay before potentially getting into heartbreak, I'll post the status here as a spoiler and in future reviews as the series comes out.
