I do love a good surprise ending! Though I would have preferred it ended a couple of chapters early, as I don't think her seeing them again and them swimming off in the ocean was necessary for me. If the premise is that your mind is so messed up it's gone this far to protect you, I don't think you get to tie it up that neatly at the end. Still, a good book and a super fast read!

This book! I don't know if I have the right words to describe this book. It was captivating, engrossing, and at times misleading but so honest and powerful. I don't feel like I finished a good book. I feel like I just stepped off an amazing roller-coaster that started in a dark cave but ended in a bright sunlit field. Amazing book.

Hasn’t been that long since I read this book, but THAT ENDING still haunts me. I don’t know if another book will ever haunt me the same.

I read this over a 12 hour time period, partially because it's short, partially because it's due back to the library soon, and partially because it was that good! The characters could not be any more phenomenal. Neither could the story or the writing for that matter. I love this author!
