What was the point of this installment? The plot was anemic. Dank's last epic battle for Pagan was just.... boring. Unnecessary. Underdeveloped. I was never concerned about who would "win". The supporting characters were filler and random.

The series arc just didn't support this 3rd book.

On a positive note... loved Dank as usual!

Original Review at Gabic Reads

I adored Ceaseless. It is an outstanding conclusion to the Existence trilogy. Pagan couldn't remember Dank, yet she was drawn to him anyway. Yet there wasn't an instalove fell to their relationship. I loved reading Dank's inner struggle to acept that Pagan can't remember him. Gee is hilarious, spunky, and you can tell she really cares about "Peggy Ann."

The paranormal stuff was excellently written, as in the previous books. I'm looking forward to more books in this genre by Abbi Glines. All of Glines' books are amazing. I'm sad to see the seris come to an end, but it looked like there might be a companion series about Gee. :)

Ceaseless is a must-read, especially if you love reading about Death falling in love.

A great ending to the trilogy. It's a bittersweet feeling now that the series is over! It's great that the characters get their HEA but I want more! I want more Dank and Pagan!

(Read at own risk- some spoilers are mentioned)

My Thoughts:

1. The book starts out by jumping right into plot. I wished that we got to see a little of Dank and Pagan before her memory got wiped. It felt a bit rushed in that the author skipped that whole experience and chose to mention bits of it in the prologue.
2. Dank seeks out to win Pagan's love in this book but there wasn't much competition to begin with. The synopsis made it sounds more dramatic than it is (I know, surprise right?) Jay was a jerk and Leif made an appearance but he hardly stood in Dank's way. The only major obstacle was Pagan's ability to remember and love Dank as Death.
3. I wanted to see more of Miranda and Nathan. Their romance was adorable.
4. The pacing is comfortable. It was a fast read mainly because I was so engrossed with the book.
5. The storyline is predictable but nothing too obvious or overly cliché.
6. And here I thought I couldn't love Dank any more than I do but after reading Ceaseless I've fallen head over heels. We see and understand more of Dank's character in this book and it's heart wrenching to read about his emotions watching Pagan forget who he is.
7. In all, it's a quick, sweet and likeable storyline.

I read this amazing book in four hours last night.
FOUR HOURS, GENTS!!
It's just the sinopsis! You just can't say that Pagan will have her memories erased just because her soulmate is Jay!
NO FREAKING WAAAY!!!!
#TeamDank forever!!!

It's been a few days since I finished this beautiful trilogy and I still can't... The feels are stronger than me. I've been listening to Dank Walker's Yet you stay on Youtube and even though it's not like I thought it would be it's still a beautiful song.

You weren't meant for the ice, You weren't made for the pain
The world that lives inside of me, brought only shame
You were meant for castles and living in the sun
The cold running through me should have made you run

Yet you stay
Holding on to me, yet you stay
Reaching out a hand that i push away
Yet you stay
When I know it's not right for you
Yet you stay
Yet you stay

This book starts in the most impossible way: Pagan's memories of her encounters with Death have been erased. Why? Because her soulmate is Jay. Now Dank will have to do everything he can to gain Pagan's heart again... and by everything I mean stalking her, asking her out, inviting her to his concerts and having very hot moments with her (and I mean reaaally hot). The good thing is that Pagan feels in her heart that she knows him and she is not even interested in Jay (her ex boyfriend during high school), but will that be enough for them?

This left me speechless. There were really funny scenes
Spoilerwhen Dank is invisible in Pagan's room and she starts to get her clothes off, his thoughts are the best!
along with very hot ones
Spoilerthe first kiss, the hot scene in the library and the very final one that I've been waiting for since the first book!
. Gee and Miranda were very important characters and, to my surprise, even Leif showed up
Spoilerf*** you, Leif, you didn't have to do that!

It was an entire rollecoaster: I wasn't even able to predict what might happen. Dank's POV, as usual, was the best even though I suffered like a baby every time something related to the past books appeared.

I passed this book to my sister and I hope she reads it. I want the whole world to read this trilogy. It's the sweetest thing ever!!!

Aferrándote a mí

I really wanted to give this book 5 stars, I loved it and have really enjoyed the series. As endings go I was very happy with this one. I felt closure and not that annoying feeling that I want more. So why only 4 stars? I loved the idea that Pagan had no memory and therefore Dank had to win her back again, I loved that Leif showed up to throw a spanner in the works but there were two things that I felt should have been done differently. I wanted Pagan's relationship with her soulmate to develop more so that she really did have to make a choice and Dank really had to fight, it seemed a bit too easy. I also felt that Pagan's memories came too quickly and I would have liked that to be drawn out a bit longer.

Aww Dank, who could not love the face of death Dankmar?!? After leaving off in Predestined with things seemingly going to finally go well for Dank & Pagan i was soo sad to find that Dank had to jump through even more hurdles to be with the girl he loves. This last hurdle is Pagan having to chose Dank over her "soul mate" Jay. To make the choice a fair one her memories of Dank are wiped, he is back to being Dank Walker, the lead singer of Cold Soul and nothing more.

It is heartbreaking but at the same time soo sweet watching Dank having to make Pagan fall in love with him again. It's soo sad that she can't remember and to see the effect that this has on Dank, but he does some of the sweetest things. In my opinion there is never any contest, Jay wouldnt even get a look in from me if Dank was there!

Great end to a great series .

Not as good as the first two books + novella due to major editing issues. I read the Kindle edition and there is a whole scene where Pagan is interacting with Jay and my book replaced Jay's name with Nathan for the majority of the dialogue. Several glaring grammar and punctuation errors affected the continuity of the story for me.

I'm not usually very picky but I think the book could be stronger if these errors were corrected.
