This book read like a job application and interview for the role of president and I was impressed by her experience and insight. Harris wove personal stories into practical experience to share her work and offer solutions to the issues she considers important.

Kamala's autobiography is an interesting insight to the vice president elect and I'm glad to have read this before the upcoming election. Even though I had made up my mind about who I was voting for already and I don't subscribe to all of Harris's opinions, this shed light on a woman that we didn't get much time to know before the run-offs happened.

Vice President Harris has an incredible history. This book spoke to how many injustices need to be addressed. Phenomenal stories.

I listened to the audio version read by the one and only Vice President Harris. I highly recommend going that route!

I've been a fan of VP Kamala since her senatorial debut, so maybe this is a bit of a biased review bc I'm DYING imagining her as president!

I loved learning more about her thoughts on big tough issues and how big her heart is when it comes to working through those big issues. I hope others read this and find themselves understanding and appreciating where she comes from and what made her into the person she is today.

This book gives good insight into what VP Harris has supported in her career and why. She also shares quite a bit of her life and family. Harris is an engaging writer and easily makes law and policy interesting.

A great read during this election season.

For the obligatory “I must write a book before I run for President” book, this one was pretty good. It had a fair balance of personal history and political manifesto, but it relied too much on boilerplate language. It definitely read as though it went through multiple rounds of message testing before it was published.
