Ahahaha oh Yuri...
Yuri brings medical assistance to the Ancient Orient when she finds the conditions of the "house of rest" to be disgusting and abominable. Also we learn that Nakia really must be a black sheep family member because Nadia ain't so bad. Deluded, conniving and kind of a bitch, but not that bad.
Oh and Urhi needs to go dig a hole in the ground and lay in it. Seriously man.
Interestingly time moves really fast in these books. Its been almost a year since Yuri first fell into Kail's world and honestly its felt like days. This is mostly spurred on by the fact they don't give us long lengthy traveling sections. "Hey this'll take 5 days to cross!" :next page: "Phew! That was a hard five days of riding!" That is the extent of things.
I'll give the Prince of Darkness kudos - he's ruthless on the battlefield...and in most other facets of life...but when push came to shove he was like "women! Run! Save yourselves!" (lord knows what happened to the children?).
