I may need to re-read this after I have read a few of her books. I had trouble appreciating much of the beginning.

I wanted to like this, but I found it hard to relate to the author and there were many passages that were opaque and vague in ways that meant that although rather poetic, I couldn't grab much meaning from them. Made me feel like I'm just too literal, which at the very least is something I hadn't quite contemplated before.
