My inner child enjoyed this little book, she could really relate to Beatrice, a girl who's expected to strive for perfection and that makes her scared of trying new things or simply having fun. Soon Beatrice realizes that the only way to avoid making mistakes is to do nothing and be nothing. More importantly, she realizes that there's so much power in being able to laugh at yourself. That's right! If you're scared of being laughed at because of a silly mistake, try laughing at yourself before everyone else. I personally learned these things the hard way, but it's never too late to take care of your inner child even by reading a helpful children's book once in a while. Believe me, they need it. You need it.

I'm trying to find a book about perfectionism and making mistakes. This one meets those criteria, but it just didn't quite work for me. (Also, feeling like a nerd for saying this, but: don't juggle your hamster- that is not okay.)

Cute story about a girl who surprisingly never makes mistakes. I liked this one but was thinking it was going in a different direction. It surprised me a little.

This is the perfect book to share with students who are perfectionists and can't bear making mistakes.

Good story but the ending could be longer.

Changing my review. Read it to four classes of fifth graders today. They loved it and were very engaged in both the story and the questions afterwards.
