I didn’t really like the nonlinear narrative. It was hard to tell when things were happening, unless Will’s age was mentioned in the title.

Absolutely love the cute art and think the story is so well written!! It is emotional and reflective. It captures the story of having a sick parent and dealing with that grief as well as the associated grief of loss while continuing to mov through lif an find more about yourself very well

This hits especially hard as a parent who is going through a major medical crisis. The love and grief mixed so potently- it’s quiet, painful, and beautiful. The art style threw me off at first, but I got used to it.
