I found this book recently, someone having discarded it on the street. Since beginning to read it I've had trouble putting it down. The quality of mystery pervades the book, with no gratuitous violence. There is an immediacy that is captivating, with many excerpts from actual transcripts. The characterizations are rendered with depth, complexity, insightful behavioral nuance.

such an insanely slow and boring beginning. the last part was surprisingly interesting to read. but overall this whole book could be half its length. repeated itself a lot. dialogue was interesting and amusing though. so glad its over

I'm really opposed to reading true crime now and so I just thought I really don't want to read this! Also it's very wordy and I have to properly concentrate!
