What I liked:
A fun story about a woman and her family. Lots of complex and in-depth relationships. Interesting characters and fun conversations.
What I didn't like:
- main love interest is a psychoanalyzing man-splaining kinda guy, still comes off as charismatic, just a bit annoying
- ending kinda dragged a bit
- LGBT story written by a cis-het woman, came off as in-genuine and sliiiiightly offensive
- main character felt a lot younger than she was. Felt like a teen
- LGBT outing a couple times
What I hated:
- a lot of slut shaming and some sex-worker hate throughout the book
- some "I'm not like other girls" and generally putting other women down
- a single transphobic remark within a joke that upset me for a few days. The remark was slightly fetishizing/ racist as well, and fully endorsed by the book:[you didn't pay for sex with any] Thai lady boys? ... Really? I heard you can never be sure
- implication that a woman wanting an abortion is wrong and something she should apologize for even considering

Honestly found almost all the characters annoying. So much miscommunication, lying, or simply refusing to communicate at all.
Graphic: Homophobia, Sexism, Abortion, Pregnancy, Outing, Toxic friendship, and Abandonment
