Ghüs, Friendo, Lying Cat, Sweet Boy, Hazel, and Sophie. Must protect them at all costs.

Loving the character interactions and found family aspects.

The sexual content and crude dialogue can be a little much at times.
Spoiler I’m over seeing The Will having sexual flashbacks with The Stalk. Unless, she isn’t actually dead. But we get it, they hooked up a lot and he has mixed feelings.

Robot King reveal made me laugh.
Spoiler his head is a giant flat screen TV and it was playing Niagara Falls footage. A full page spread too.

Re-read in preparation for Saga Vol. 10
This one again was a bit of a dull one, it mostly focuses on blooming marital issues, but the introduction of Dengo and the conflict in the Robot Kingdom was pretty interesting, but overall this one felt like more of a kickstart for a new arc rather than something exciting, similar to Vol. 2

I'll be honest, I was a little nervous about the introduction of another storyline. I know that from a genre perspective, comics and graphic novels are supposed to be a great medium for having parallel storylines that intersect only at the author's desire - that it can all be connected or not at all. Still, it seemed a bit risky given that while we had definitely come to a stopping point in other storylines, we had not actually come to their conclusion. But the twist and integration into the overarching plot worked very well - I'm intrigued to see what happens when our heroes arrive at this destination. Well, maybe heroes is a stretch, and they still have to find their destination, if they actually can, but you get what I mean.

Another great addition to the series! Everytime I read one I assume I will find at least thing I start to dislike, but I have not! It gets better and better

This volume picks up after a little time skip, and I really like that choice as the progression felt natural. It was very fun to see Hazel a little bit older, speaking and walking around as a toddler now and interacting with the world around her more. I also loved how the conflicts started with general married spouse arguments, tension rising, until the stakes suddenly spiked again by the end of the volume with a big cliffhanger ending. We are essentially following 3 different groups of characters and their storylines, but seeing how they are tied together and how they inevitably clash is the thrilling and juicy part. I have come to love almost all of the diverse cast of characters and am just speeding through these comics because I can't wait for more.
