Quick read about Lev and his time after he left cy-fi. Though brief, it was a glimpse into another world (one where Unwinding should not be a concern). Wil is a wonderful character...this book is entirely too short to get enough time with him but despite the length, Shusterman is able to convey the impact of the decisions made.

Loved this. Can’t speak to the native rep but nothing struck me as obviously bad. It’s a really good fillet for how Lev ended up as he did. The ending is very dark but hints at things to come.

I'm a huge Schusterman fan but I think more could have been done with this. I understand that it's a short, bridge story. If he put a quarter of the detail into this as he does his other work I'd have loved it. As is, it gave me a tiny bit of insight into Lev. I'm excited for Unwholly though!!!
