Second chance romance between high school sweethearts who had very different views of their past. I enjoyed the way they came to terms with who they had been, though I felt like the blame for the flaws in their relationship were a little too one-sided. I also struggled a little with the HEA since I felt like healthy communication was their biggest hurdle and it was kind of side stepped. Still the characters were easy to root for and the conflict and emotions swept me away. I recommend this whole series for kinky romance fans who enjoy lots of angst on the way to an HEA.

I loved this book. There were so many important subjects addressed in this. I loved that the author didn't shy away from discussing issues of race/ethnicity, ability, and sexuality. The fact that this book had a main character that is Turkish and bisexual is mind-blowing. Then to have a Jewish, disabled gay man as a side character is even more impressive. I just really loved the inclusive feel of this book.

Ok, so it is possible that I have a type, and maybe that type is snarky bisexuals... A bit more on the angsty and dramatic side than I usually like, and corporate-themed romance is usually high on my list of things to avoid, but I really enjoyed this one. It helps that I hardcore relate to folks being epically stupid in their teenage relationships and then having to learn from that and forgive themselves.

So good!
This was the perfect mix of romance, heartbreak, and hot sex! The chemistry between everyone was perfect and when Todd and Z were good, they were good. But when things were rough, oh I swear I almost cried!

I didn't realize this was book 3. I'll be back.

It seemed a little overwrought to me, honestly, but I liked the characters, and the description of Seattle seemed natural and authentic.

I had a hard time focusing on the middle half. It described the daily grind every evening ending in lengthy, boring sex. The mandated trouble in paradise had me eyerolling for the last 20%. I mean: an unhappy man in a job full of harassment meets a lover who lives 3000 km away. They could not come up with a solution.
Narrator was good.
